Slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore how plants become your palette at some of my workshops and courses.

Natural Palette – Botanical Print Course

Seasonal course at Manak House, Belgrade

Workshop for adults

An interactive course blending art, nature, and tradition.
Learn botanical printing and natural dyeing, from theory to hands-on practice.

The school covers a variety of botanical printing techniques – a contemporary interpretation of traditional dyeing knowledge. This method involves the direct transfer of shapes and pigments from leaves, flowers, pods, seeds, and bark onto fabric, allowing the plant material to leave its natural marks and colors, creating a unique, organic textile design.

Participants will explore both theoretical foundations and practical aspects of botanical printing and natural dyeing.

Natural Dye Workshops

One- or two-day workshops combining ancient plant-based knowledge with modern practice.
Experience the chemistry, creativity, and meditative quality of natural dyes.

Natural Drawing Inks Workshops

Discover how raw plant materials, extracts and pigments can be transformed into drawing inks for use on both paper and fabric. These periodic workshops, held at Atelier Gallery 5 in Belgrade, introduce you to sustainable art materials inspired by nature.

Learning by Doing

Our sessions blend traditional knowledge with contemporary ecological practice:

  • Botanical printing
  • Plant-based dye extraction
  • Plant-based drawing inks
  • Slow processes and mindful observation
  • Seasonal palettes and natural color variation

Every workshop invites you to notice the subtle: texture, imprint, scent, temperature, time.

These workshops are practical, creative, and open to all skill levels.
They offer a hands-on introduction to botanical color and its applications in textile design, contemporary art and printing.
